Images Beyond the Wall
Images beyond the Wall has been a founding project for zaLab, and for zaLabTV. Two video workshops were held between December 2005 and may 2006 in Biddu, Palestine. zaLab associates joined the newly-founded Nawafeth Youth Forum, that later became the Palestinian hub of zaLabTV.

Taghreed and Mohammad are a girl and a boy from Biddu, a village between Ramallah and Jerusalem (Palestine). Biddu is going to be surrounded by the Israeli wall on three sides. Mohammad spends his daily life on the street and playing billiards; he doesn’t find any reason in creating a future when only the roof is missing to close his people in jail. Taghreed stays at home: she can’t continue to study because she cannot go beyond the wall.
