El Jem El Jem is a little town in central Tunisia, famous for its spectacular Roman Coliseum. Every year, in summer, the local association Art et Jeunesse El Jem organizes Decouvertes Tunisie 21, a music festival with guest artist from southern Europe and North Africa. During the festival, many art workshops youths are also organized in town. ZaLab TV was invited twice at Decouvertes Tunisie 21 for leading the local participatory video workshop. During the 10 days intensive participatory session, ZaLab TV crews produces a creative coverage of the Festival events and the life in town. In 2007, Zalab TV workshops in El jem were led, among the others, by ZaLab TV video crew from the tunisian town of Kerchaou.
