Does Bologna Integrate?
Refugees in a country without refuge
Six political refugees from Iran, Afghanistan and Belarus. Twelve students from Bologna University. Four short film about the lack of a basical right in contemporary democratic Italy.
“Come back in a month” tells about how much time you need to have your refugee’s rights recognised. “What a wonderful world” tells about the desire to go on studying. “Integration for rent” tells about being a woman with four son and dealing with rent and work. “Small openings”, as an happy final, tells about what it is to escape for liberty and to find slavery.
All four film were produced with ANCI, Bologna Municipality and Bologna University in the cadre of integRARsi-MEDA project, founded by EU-Equal and Ministry of Work.
